Buzzzzzzz Off - No Bees No Food
"I believe that the hive-bee has acquired, through natural selection, her
inimitable architectural powers."
- Charles Darwin : Origin of Species
Honeybees fly with a remarkable agility
that would be the envy of stunt pilots, yet their navigation
software is
packed into a brain the size of a sesame seed. Bees have airspeed
gauges; gyroscopes; a compass that detects the
polarization of sunlight; UV sensors to track the horizon to
measure tilt; and two compound eyes, each with 7,000 hexagonal
(six-sided) facets.
Bee Colony Collapse Disorder
There have been
numerous stories recently about the strange dissappearance
of bees worldwide.
We know
for a fact that bees are essential
to our food supply to survive:
"The honeybee is, by far, the most beneficial
insect,” says
Charles Heatherly, president of the N.C. State Beekeepers Association. “It
pollinates one-third of the food we eat.”
"In California, the almond crop alone uses
1.3 million colonies of bees, approximately one half of all honey
bees in the United States, and this need is projected to grow
to 1.5 million colonies by 2010."
- U.S. Department of Agriculture
The
Bible states in Revelation that a wordwide famine is
coming as symbolized by the black horse.
- Revelation 6
If bees "acquired" these
powers by natural selection than how
did pollination occur in past centuries? An imperfect evolving
bee would not be able to produce any food. The
bee shows clear evidence of a master designer.
Bee Honey
Is Good
My son, eat thou honey, because it is good -
Proverbs 24
Bees inside the hive fan their wings, creating
a strong draft across the honeycomb which enhances evaporation
of much of the water from the nectar. The reduction in water
content, which raises the sugar concentration, prevents fermentation.
Ripe honey, as removed from the hive by the beekeeper, has a
long shelf life and will not ferment. Essentially it never goes
bad.
Hydrogen peroxide in honey is activated by dilution. Iron in
honey oxidizes the oxygen free radicals released by the hydrogen
peroxide. One New Zealand researcher says a particular type
of honey may be useful in treating MRSA.
Antibacterial properties of honey are the result of the low water
activity
causing osmosis,
hydrogen peroxide effect, and high acidity. God states that honey is good and he also states
do not eat alot of it. The consumption of too much sugar can
lead to a diabetic condition. - Proverbs

Darwin Caught in a Lie
"I had gradually come by this time
to see the Old Testament, from its manifestly false history
of the world.
That is was no more to be trusted than the sacred books of the
Hindoos, or the beliefs of any barbarian."
- Charles Darwin
The Bible has vindicated itself numerous times in
regards to being an accurate account of history.
